Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Ops/Azure)

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer/Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and maintain an Azure based IT infrastructure environment for a city-based insurance firm.
The main skills we are looking for in this role would be expertise in Microsoft technologies, Office 365, Azure services, and scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of IT infrastructure in private data centres and hybrid cloud.
• Work together with product owners and technology teams for solution design and implementation.
• Monitor service health and identify process optimisation opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.

• Agile planning and backlog management using Azure DevOps.
• Support day-to-day operations and work on new tech solutions.
• Level 3 escalation for system and service issues.

Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Exchange Online.
• Office 365 and Azure certifications.
• Office 365 platform management, modern device management, cloud VDI solutions, and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation preferably using PowerShell and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
