Test Manager (UAT & System Integration)

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our dynamic team for a 6-month contract, focusing on a critical migration project from iSeries to Sapiens. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformational project, requiring a blend of UAT and System Integration testing expertise within an Agile ERP environment.

As a Test Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition from iSeries to Sapiens, managing both User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) processes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the testing phase of the migration, ensuring it meets all specifications and quality standards. This role demands a high level of autonomy and proficiency in managing complex testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for UAT and System Integration Testing.
• Coordinate and manage testing activities to ensure timely delivery within the Agile ERP program framework.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate test-related risks throughout the migration process.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align testing activities with business requirements and project timelines.
• Lead, motivate, and manage testing teams to achieve project objectives effectively.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager, particularly in UAT and System Integration Testing, within ERP Agile program environments.
• Strong background in managing large-scale migration projects, with preference given to those with iSeries to Sapiens migration experience.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, with a preference for candidates with experience in Sapiens or related platforms.
• Desirable experience in the employee benefits/insurance sector, understanding the specific challenges and requirements of this domain.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information:

• Contract Length: 6 Months
• Location: Birmingham (Hybrid - required in the office once a month)
• Day Rate: £400 (OUTSIDE IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
